I had a “health scare” at a doctor’s appointment. I needed the motivation to lose weight, take less medicine, and diet in a healthy way. I remember when it was extremely difficult to powerwalk 5,000 steps. Now I can do 15,000 to 20,000+ powerwalking steps a day! I’ve experienced sprained ankles that hurt a lot and the biggest struggle was having to slowly start all over again. I've learned to set small goals, have fun with my daily workouts, and schedule rest days. Thank you for teaching me that my self-care matters and for the continuous educational and motivational support you provide.

I wanted to lose weight, but also to sleep better and just feel better. I was concerned I would not be able to make any kind of lifestyle change. My greatest result is that I am finally able to sleep!! While I don't sleep as much as I feel like I need, I am definitely getting more quality sleep. I have learned that to make baby goals so that I don't get too discouraged. It is good to have a long-term goal, but set little goals to goal hop your way to the big goal! I love the positive energy that Greg and Katie always put out. Whether we are working out in person or just staying connected via Facebook, they help me to find the positive in each situation and never give up. Both of them are great at helping me to push past my fears and limits.

I had the privilege of working with Greg as my personal trainer for almost a year prior to COVID lockdowns. I’m not considered athletic by any stretch of the imagination but with Greg’s encouraging style of training, by the time we had to break I went from an over 60 woman that couldn’t a push-up when I started to a woman lifting over 100 lbs. I started working with Greg and Katie because I wanted to try something new and different, a challenge. In the beginning, I was afraid of flipping over a tire and climbing a rope, but I wanted to get stronger and ready for obstacle course races. My biggest struggle was my arms! Having a group of people supporting each other, including my running partner Chris, was the best thing. Working out as a group kept us moving and staying active. After working with Greg and Katie my current goals are to continue to stay active and to keep up with our boys and run a 10k!
