Words are powerful. Repetition can be powerful. So if you are going to repeat words over and over again inside your head or out loud you want to choose some positive affirmations.
Some people would even say, words are the most powerful weapons that humans have.
Negative words can hurt.
Words can heal and they have the power to change your life for better or worse.
Let’s use our words for good.
Positive affirmations are phrases you repeat to yourself with a positive outcome in mind.
This is based on a scientific principle called neuroplasticity.
Neuroplasticity is the brain’s ability to reorganize and adapt in response to new situations and changes in our environment.
Kids can do this pretty well. But as we get older we get set in our thought patterns and it becomes very difficult for us to rewire our brains.
Positive affirmations can also be very powerful because they release you from inner negativity, fear, worry, and anxiety.
As we repeat these affirmations over and over again, they begin to take charge of our thoughts, slowly changing our pattern of thinking and ultimately changing our lives.
When you lift weights, repetition makes your muscles get stronger.
When you practice positive affirmation, repetition makes your brain positivity – and your sense of well-being – stronger.
Your thoughts dictate your emotions and the way that you live your life.
You are what you think. And your thoughts become actions.
Try these positive affirmations:
“Today, I am excited and full of joy.”
“I am blessed with friends and family to do life with.”
“My body is healthy, my mind is strong, and my soul is content.”
“There is love and goodness in my life.”
“God is with me. He will help me overcome any challenge that I encounter.”
“Today I will radiate positivity, kindness, and encouragement.”
“It’s okay to be different, in fact, Jesus tells me not to be like this world.”
I encourage you to come up with your own affirmations that fit your life and try saying a couple out loud now.
