Fruit and veggies are great for snacking because they are low in calories and rich in nutrients. Place them in a pretty bowl on the counter instead of hiding them in your fridge drawer. You will be more likely to grab them when you can see them. For the ones you do store in your fridge place them at the front and at eye level so you see them first and most.
✔️ Drink lots of water.
Lots and lots of water. Studies say that men should consume 15 ½ glasses of water per day and women should have 11 ½. It’s easy, free, and super beneficial. Staying hydrated helps you feel full and increases weight loss and overall health.
✔️ Do multiple mini-workouts throughout your day.
If you are super busy you may not be able to set aside an entire 30 minutes at one time each day to exercise, but you can still do mini workouts that add up to your 30 minutes recommended daily exercise. Throughout the day add movement breaks – walks, jumping jacks, crunches, whatever – every few hours to break up your day. With more and more people working from home, there is even more freedom to supplement your workout routines throughout the day!

That’s right. Get enough sleep. When our bodies are tired, our hormone production is influenced. Lack of sleep actually slows down your body’s production of leptin (which suppresses hunger) and increases the production of ghrelin (which increases hunger). Here are 10 ideas to improve your sleep.

Allow yourself to have a treat from time to time. Completely depriving yourself of certain foods that you enjoy can lead to fixation and over-consumption when or if you give in to your cravings. Small treats in moderation can be offset by a majority of healthy choices and regular exercise.
