Are you using essential oils to figh the changing seasons where you live? We sure are here in Houston. We went from 90 degrees to 30 degrees in a day! It was ridiculous. I’m not even sure Fall stopped by this year. We went straight from summer to winter!
The quickly changing seasons are almost always a cause of sickness around our house. Ears back up. Sore throats. Stuffy noses. Headaches. They always seem to follow the weather change.
Several years ago we started using essential oils to help fight off some of our bugs. Right away we started seeing great results using Rocky Mountain Oils Lavender oil. We put just a little on our fingertip and rub it under our noses. It has really helped with fighting seasonal allergies! Lots of people also use lavender to help them relax at night and fall asleep.
We have also used peppermint oil on tummy aches and headaches. You can also use the cold-hot sensation of peppermint on sore muscles, but be careful not to put too much because it can feel like your skin is on fire if you put on too much.
Immune Strength is an oil blend that we use frequently when anyone is fighting a sickness whether head, chest, or stomach. You can diffuse it or apply it to the bottom of your feet to help fight germs. It’s a blend of all natural ingredients that help boost the body’s natural immune defense: Clove, Cinnamon, Lemon, Orange, Thyme, Rosemary, Nutmeg, Ginger, and Eucalyptus.
Flu time is another one of our favorite oils and most used. We diffuse it at night or day whenever anyone is feeling sick. We’ve also applied it to the bottom of our feet. It contains Frankincense, Peppermint, Spearmint, Cinnamon, Lime, Ginger, and Lavender.
What oils do you use to stay healthy during the changing seasons and how do you use them? Let me know!
